Wedding Fun

Mr. SG and I had a lovely, laid-back weekend. One of our fun errands, squeezed in between college football of course, was a trip to one of my favorite vintage stores, Gratitude. We were on a mission for a second vintage suitcase for our wedding. Since the soiree is going to be outdoors in November, we're guessing it'll get a little nippy as the sun sets. For those who have forgotten a wrap we plan to have pashminas. So we're stacking the suitcases on top of a side table with one of the suitcases open featuring the emergency wraps. Here is a test display of our idea.

The whole wedding has a vintage vibe - vintage Florida to be exact. I love old suitcases and wanted to find a way to incorporate them - this seems to work well! Another way that could work (maybe for a smaller wedding) would be to have a few different suitcases open around a table with the escort cards pinned in them! For those who are planning a wedding have fun with it - it is the unique touches that give a wedding character.

Stay Chic,

HSG
